Steadier monthly billing and student counts you can trust
Monthly billing should be something you set up once and then stop worrying about. This release protects your core invoicing rules after setup, lets you waive a monthly invoice without leaving forgiven fees on the books, and makes the student counts on your batch and course pages match the lists beside them.
Set your invoicing rules once
When you first set up invoicing, you choose your invoice generation day, how catch-up invoicing works for students added mid-cycle, and whether you bill in advance or in arrears. Once saved, those three core rules are protected so they cannot be changed by accident partway through a billing cycle. Your due dates and invoice notes stay editable, and our support team can help if your core rules genuinely need to change later.
Write off a monthly invoice cleanly
You can now waive a consolidated monthly invoice, not just a single fixed-fee one. Ethera Guru checks the invoice can be waived, asks you to record a short reason, and keeps the waived invoice visible for your records. The amount no longer counts towards what the family owes, so your collection figures stay accurate. Open the invoice, then choose Waive / write off.
Record each student's school
Academic tuition centres can now note a student's school name directly on their profile. It helps when planning exam-prep groups, spotting local school patterns, or following up with families who share the same school calendar. The field appears only for academic tuition centres, so everyone else keeps a simpler student form. You will find it under Students → open a student → Edit → Edit School Name.
Batch and course counts that match your lists
Batch and course summary cards now count each student once, even when the same student has more than one enrolment. The enrolled, enquired, and completed cards line up with the students shown in the matching lists, so reviewing attendance, batch size, or course progress no longer means reconciling numbers by hand.
Online payments that keep working after a quiet spell
Centres that collect online payments through Razorpay get a steadier connection. Ethera Guru refreshes the secure connection automatically each day before it can expire, even if you have not raised a payment link for a while. That means links are far less likely to fail after a slow season or a holiday break — there is nothing for you to do, and you can confirm your connection is healthy under payment settings.
